Singapore Study Tour

2024-04-10

Our school's commitment to nurturing students' diverse development led to an unforgettable 4-day, 3-night study tour to Singapore in early April. Organized by the Tourism and Hospitality Studies Department, this immersive experience provided students with a deeper understanding of the positive values and attitudes in the global tourism industry.

Our students took pride in interacting with and getting inspired by the experienced professionals during the comprehensive half-day program at SHATEC, one of the leading educational institutions in Asia for Hotel and Tourism Studies. It offered students invaluable insights into Singapore's tourism outlook and the hospitality industry.

We also had the privilege of visiting Mercure Singapore Tyrwhitt, an esteemed hotel under the Accor Group. In the training session, our students were able to practice the delivery of exceptional guest experiences under the guidance of the enthusiastic team from the hotel.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to SHATEC and Mercure Singapore Tyrwhitt for their invaluable contributions in making this study tour a resounding success.

During the tour, students also witnessed Singapore's vibrant cultural diversity and modern marvels. Iconic landmarks such as Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam showcased the rich heritage of the country, while visits to Jewel Changi Airport and Gardens by the Bay demonstrated the nation's commitment to sustainable tourism.

This enriching study tour has not only broadened students' horizons but also nurtured their passion for the tourism and hospitality industry. It is a testament to our school's commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences that prepare students for a global future.
