An American education expert delegation led by Prof. Christy Lao from San Francisco State University visited SKH Chan Young Secondary School on Thursday, 12 December 2024.

The delegates started the day by observing junior and senior English language classes and interacted with our students. Later in the day, the delegation went on a campus tour guided by our students. This is followed by a luncheon with our principal and teachers where they exchanged views on English teaching strategies. We shared experience in developing school-based materials, cooperating with university curriculum consultants, encouraging collaborative lesson planning, etc. - some of the ways our school enhances students' English proficiency.  
 
The visit was fruitful and constructive. Our school will continue to explore measures to improve students' English proficiency based on the experts' recommendations.
