Congratulations to a group of our S.1 students, being the youngest group of participants, on receiving the merit award in the YPEC 2024 for their project "Majestic Jam", which allows human musicians to jam music with AI.

YPEC, organized by The Institution of Engineering and Technology Hong Kong, aims to act as a dynamic platform for prospective or young engineers from different sections ranging from secondary schools to postgraduate to exhibit their engineering projects. This year, “AI Gen” has been chosen as the theme, reflecting the importance of creativity and flexibility for young professionals in adapting to the digital world. Participants have to prepare an abstract within 200 words, a 2-minute pitching video, a 10-minute presentation, a booth to explicate their project, explain and demonstrate their ideas.
